Within the park, shelters are available to the public for family, company, or organization functions.  Please contact the PAJRC to place your reservations and availability of the shelters.

         Shelters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 10    $50.00 plus $25.00 deposit

         Shelter 3                              $125.00 with kitchen and $100.00 without Plus $25.00 deposit

 

Shelter reservations require an application process and deposit.  Please review the Park rules, regulations, and terms prior to reservations. 

 

If the shelter you used is clean satisfactorily after use, your deposit will be returned.

 

As soon as we receive your application and payment for the shelter and it is approved by the PAJRC, you will receive your Shelter Reservation Parking Permit. Keep this permit and have it with you and available for inspection during the time of your outing.

 

To make your day more pleasant, please note the following:

The power source is limited to THREE (3) electrical appliances being operated at the same time.

Your should bring your own light bulbs, extension cords, toilet paper, and large trash bags. (NOTE: To keep our Park clean and our shelter costs low, it is very important that all trash be collected and properly disposed of before leaving the area.)

 

You should also be aware of the following ordinances of the Borough of Portage that are enforced at the Crichton-McCormick Park:

  1. Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages within the Park is prohibited.

  2. The Park hours are 7:00AM - 11:00PM.

  3. Traffic speed limit is 15 mph throughout the Park.

 

Due to a number of circumstances including weather and lack of attendance, we can not guarantee that the Crichton McCormick Park Pool will be open the day of your reservation, however, every effort is made to keep the pool open daily.  A $1.00 discount on daily swim passes with 20 or more swimmers in a group.  Please let the front desk know you are renting a shelter and the number of swimmers.
