The Portage Area Youth Association (PAYA) is located in Portage, Pennsylvania in the county of Cambria. PAYA organizes and coordinates baseball and softball leagues for boys and girls aged 5 to 16. PAYA oversees a tee ball league and a transitional baseball league, and competes regionally in little league, softball, and pony leagues. PAYA, a complelely volunteer organization, maintains three fields, and serves over 200 youths throughout the Portage area.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of Portage Area Youth Association to instill in all children the ideals of confidence, honesty, teamwork, sportmanship, and respect by providing an instructive, encouraging, and positive environment to learn and play the games of baseball and softball.

Tee Ball
5 -6 year old boys and girls learn baseball fundamentals in this non-competitive, instructional league.
Transitional League
Boys and Girls aged 7 -8 compete in this coach-pitch/pitching machine league.
Little League
Boys aged 9 through 12 compete in the regional Keystone Baseball League.
Girls Softball
Girls aged 8 through 14 compete in the regional Forest Hills Fast-Pitch Softball League.
Pony League
Boys aged 13 - 15 compete in the regional Northern Cambria Pony League.
